Nissan unveils Dongfeng NX7 SUV in China

Nissan has introduced the Dongfeng Nissan NX7 in the Chinese market, a mid-sized SUV that utilizes extended-range electric vehicle (EREV/PHEV) technology. The vehicle features a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine acting as a generator for a 170 kW electric motor. It is equipped with a 40.95 kWh LFP battery from CATL, providing an electric-only range of approximately 220 to 225 kilometers according to the CLTC cycle.

The NX7 is part of Nissan's expanding N-series in China. Technological features include a clean design with split headlights, semi-hidden door handles, and advanced driver assistance options such as roof-mounted LiDAR and urban NOA (navigate on autopilot) capabilities.
