Nissan unveils Z Kaze concept inspired by 1990s tuning culture

Nissan has unveiled the Z Kaze concept, a passion project designed to honor 1990s tuning culture and the heritage of the Z sports car. Revealed at the ZCON enthusiast convention, the concept features a custom-engineered T-top roof, a nod to the open-top models of previous generations.

The vehicle is finished in a Pacific Teal paint scheme and includes several performance-oriented modifications. These include a vented carbon-fiber hood, fender flares, and a custom carbon-fiber aerodynamic body kit. The concept also utilizes restored 18-inch NISMO LMGT2 forged wheels. Inside, the cabin features white leather upholstery contrasted with carbon fiber elements and Bose Personal Plus speakers integrated into the headrests.

According to Ponz Pandikuthira, senior vice president and chief product and planning officer at Nissan Americas, the project combines engineering excellence with a celebration of the brand’s heritage.
