Nissan unveils 2027 Murano updates and Frontier pricing

Nissan has announced updates for its 2027 model year vehicle lineup, most notably for the Murano crossover. The 2027 Murano features a simplified trim structure with the removal of the entry-level SV trim. This change shifts the SL trim to the base position, effectively increasing the starting price in the US market. All 2027 Murano models will now come standard with all-wheel drive and a 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine producing 241 horsepower.

A new mid-range trim called ‘Dark Armor’ has been introduced, featuring a blacked-out aesthetic with 21-inch gloss-black wheels, unique bumpers, and specialized badging. While the Murano is seeing price adjustments and trim changes in North America, Nissan is also evaluating importing US-made Muranos to markets like Taiwan and Japan.

Additionally, Nissan Canada has released pricing for the 2027 Frontier mid-size pickup. The Frontier will retain its 3.8-liter V6 engine producing 310 horsepower and is expected to arrive at Canadian dealerships in autumn 2026, with a starting price of $56,998.
