Nissan updates Atlas commercial vehicle lineup with new 4WD models

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. has announced specification updates and the addition of 4WD models for its Atlas commercial vehicle lineup, specifically for models compatible with standard driver's licenses. The updated models were released on August 28.

Key improvements to the 2WD models include regulatory compliance updates and an expanded operating range for the Pre-crash Brake (PBC) during left and right turns, which now includes oncoming vehicles to reduce intersection accident risks. Other enhancements include higher-quality electronic inner mirrors and the standardization of USB sockets in the hour meter and instrument panel to improve usability.

Nissan Motorsports & Customization (NMC) is also updating its ‘Work Use Vehicle’ series. This includes new 4WD options for the rear gate lifter truck and dry van models. The lifter truck series also sees the addition of a double cab specification for passenger-inclusive work tasks. For refrigerated and freezer vehicles, new small-cargo options optimized for small-lot delivery have been added.
