Nissan X-Trail new generation to debut in US this November

Nissan is preparing to launch the new generation of its X-Trail SUV in the United States this November. The new model features a significantly different design compared to the version slated for the Brazilian market, which is expected to arrive in early 2027.

While the Brazilian version will share the e-Power mechanical setup, the new generation utilizes a more sophisticated hardware system. This includes 5-in-1 compact electric units that integrate the drive motor, inverter, reducer, generator, and amplifier to reduce weight and improve efficiency. The e-Power system functions as a hybrid that uses a gasoline engine to generate electricity for the traction motors without requiring external charging.
