Nissan's Reputation Drops as It Launchs New PCD SUV in Brazil
Consumer complaint platform Reclame Aqui placed Nissan at the top of its negative ranking for car manufacturers in Brazil, indicating the worst reputation among automakers based on user scores from the past six months. Nissan responded that the poor perception is temporary and linked to recent changes in its operational system.
At the same time, Nissan introduced the Nissan Kait, a compact SUV aimed at PCD (people with disabilities) buyers, priced at R$ 99,990. The model is positioned as a successor to the Kicks and competes directly with the Fiat Pulse and Citroën Basalt, as well as other similarly priced SUVs such as the Chevrolet Tracker and Volkswagen T‑Cross.
