Nita Ambani named top figure in Fortune India’s Most Powerful Women ranking

Nita M. Ambani, founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation, was placed at the top of Fortune India’s Most Powerful Women list. The ranking highlighted her leadership of the foundation, which the organization says has reached more than 100 million people across India, including 29 million children.

The recognition followed Ambani’s recent receipt of the AAPI Humanitarian Award in Tampa, Florida, where Tampa Mayor Jane Castor presented her with the city’s Key to the City. Reliance Industries posted a caption praising her vision, stating, “Congratulations to Smt. Nita M. Ambani, on being ranked #1 in Fortune India’s Most Powerful Women list.”
