NITDA and NACCIMA partner to boost Nigerian startup investment

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) have entered a partnership to drive private-sector investment into Nigerian technology startups and enterprises.

The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between government-supported technology innovation and real-sector market demand. NACCIMA will act as a private-sector investor pipeline and a facilitator for commercial off-takers, leveraging its network of over 120 city, state, and bilateral chambers to connect indigenous startups with corporate buyers and venture capital firms.

Key initiatives under the agreement include the mobilization of the private sector for the Digital Nigeria International Conference and Exhibition (DNICE) 2026, scheduled for November 10–12 in Abuja. Other priorities involve the development of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) enterprise accelerator and a digital trust mark platform. The partnership will target sectors such as manufacturing, agribusiness, logistics, and services to improve productivity through technology adoption.
