Niterói educational program reaches 20,000 students in first year

The Circuito da Cidade program in Niterói has completed its first year, reaching nearly 20,000 students from the municipal school system. The initiative uses the city's historical, cultural, and architectural landmarks as outdoor classrooms.

Students aged 5 to 14 visit sites such as the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC), the Santa Cruz Fortress, Caminho Niemeyer, and Ilha da Boa Viagem. The program is a partnership between the Municipal Secretariat of Education and Neltur (Niterói Leisure and Tourism Company). Dedicated buses transport students to various regions, accompanied by pedagogical teams.
