Niterói Expo Geek to host 30,000 visitors in Rio de Janeiro

The fourth edition of Niterói Expo Geek is scheduled to take place on September 12 and 13 at Caminho Niemeyer in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. The free event expects to attract more than 30,000 visitors, continuing a trend of significant growth since its inception in 2023.

The festival features over 50 attractions covering various aspects of pop culture, including anime, cosplay, K-pop, gaming, RPG, comics, and literature. The programming includes musical performances by Banda Ducktails and Floresta Secreta, theatrical shows such as ‘Alice e a Ampulheta Paradoxal’, and panels discussing topics like Brazilian superheroes.

Confirmed guests include voice actors Úrsula Bezerra and William Viana, as well as Marcos Castro and Luciana D’Aulizio from the Castro Brothers. Organizer Alexandre Lage described the event as a live magazine of the geek universe, designed to bring diverse communities together in one location.
