Niterói officials inspect R$ 17 million housing renovation

Renovations are underway at the Zilda Arns I and II housing complexes in the Fonseca neighborhood of Niterói. Mayor Rodrigo Neves recently inspected the site to monitor progress on the R$ 17 million investment project.

Completed works include the replacement of all roofs on the main blocks and half of the blocks designated for people with disabilities. Ongoing improvements involve replacing water towers, painting facades, structural reinforcement, installing cladding, and renovating the sports court.

Additional upgrades include new electrical wiring in corridors, replacement of apartment and block access doors, and the installation of new flooring. The project also features landscaping, new lighting for common areas, a playground, and enhanced security through new gates and a guardhouse.
