Niterói partners with tour guide league to boost tourism

Niterói Empresa de Lazer e Turismo (Neltur) has established a partnership with the Liga Independente dos Guias de Turismo (LIGUIA) to promote Niterói as a primary tourist destination for visitors arriving in Rio de Janeiro.

As part of the agreement, LIGUIA tour guides will participate in five famtours scheduled between October and December to experience Niterói’s landmarks, including the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC), Caminho Niemeyer, and various beaches and cultural sites. Each group will consist of 25 guides. Additionally, a seminar is planned for June 2027 to further strengthen the collaboration.
