Niteroi begins construction of Piratininga Skate Park

The city of Niteroi has authorized the construction of the Piratininga Skate Park, located in the Oceanic Region. The facility will be integrated into the Parque Orla Piratininga and is scheduled for completion in February 2027.

The project covers an area of 693 square meters and will feature two tracks for Olympic modalities: a street track of 416 square meters and a bowl track of 277 square meters. The estimated investment for the project is approximately R$ 1 million. The construction will be carried out by the Empresa de Infraestrutura e Obras de Niteroi.

Local authorities state that the new structure will expand the city's sports network, potentially hosting state-level skateboarding championships, while also strengthening tourism and the use of public spaces in the region.
