BJP President Nitin Nabin kicks off 2027 Uttarakhand election preparations

BJP National President Nitin Nabin has launched the party’s campaign preparations for the 2027 Uttarakhand Assembly elections during a two-day visit to Haldwani. Addressing the Extended State Working Committee meeting, Nabin expressed confidence that the BJP would secure a third consecutive term, citing the effectiveness of the ‘double-engine’ government and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s commitment to development.

Nabin’s itinerary included various outreach programs, such as a ‘Yuva Samvad’ to engage with Gen-Z, an ‘Ex-Servicemen Sammelan’, and a ‘Sikh Gaurav Sammelan’ in Rudrapur. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the party organization at the booth level, noting that the BJP’s structure in the state includes over 12,000 booths.

During his visit, Nabin also visited the Mahalaxmi Temple with Chief Minister Dhami. In his political addresses, he criticized the Congress party for what he termed ‘appeasement politics’ and highlighted the BJP’s focus on road connectivity, women’s empowerment, and the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC).
