Nitish Rana scores emotional half-century in Delhi Premier League tribute

Cricketer Nitish Rana delivered an emotional performance during the Delhi Premier League on August 17, scoring 60 runs off 33 deliveries for the West Delhi Lions. Rana reached his half-century in just 27 balls and dedicated the milestone to his mother, Satish, who passed away on August 7 following an illness. As a tribute, Rana wore a jersey featuring ‘N Satish’ on the back and pointed toward the sky upon reaching his fifty.

Despite Rana’s standout performance, which included four boundaries and six sixes, the West Delhi Lions were bowled out for 169. The South Delhi Superstarz secured a 10-wicket victory, chasing down the target with 28 balls to spare. Sanat Sangwan led the chase with an unbeaten 111 off 54 balls, supported by Anmol Sharma, who finished 55 not out.
