Nitori explains lifespan and care of N Cool cooling sheets
Nitori says the chill of its N Cool contact‑cooling sheets comes from a heat‑conductive material woven into the fabric, which quickly transfers body heat away. The cooling effect can diminish over time due to surface friction, pilling, sweat or oil buildup, and repeated washing that degrades the fabric.
Visible signs that the cooling function has faded include noticeable pilling and fabric wear. Nitori advises gentle handling: avoid bleach and dryer use, limit fabric‑softener, wash in a net, use short spin cycles, and dry in a shaded, well‑ventilated area. The company also notes that newer N Cool models feature a revised weave and added polyethylene sections for a smoother, cooler feel.
Beyond product care, Nitori promotes a recycling program for used items such as bedding, curtains and towels, aiming to extend the lifecycle of its goods and reduce waste.
