Nitra hosts Slovak Ministry of Interior Days

The Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic is hosting the second annual Ministry of Interior Days at the Agrokomplex exhibition center in Nitra. The free public event, scheduled for September 11 and 12, features demonstrations of equipment and operations from firefighters, police, and rescue services.

Program highlights include the Slovak Championship in extricating injured persons from crashed vehicles, demonstrations of police canine and hippology units, and a Mountain Rescue Service display involving a helicopter. The event also includes a museum tour, meetings with elite police athletes, and a ceremony to honor the Slovak rescue team for their deployment following the earthquake in Venezuela.
