Nits d’Estiu de Calella festival reaches record 7,500 attendees

The Nits d’Estiu de Calella (NEC) festival has concluded its latest edition with a record-breaking 7,500 attendees. This figure represents a 7% increase from the previous year and a 57.1% increase compared to 2024.

All tickets were sold out for 14 of the 18 scheduled concerts. Approximately 60.5% of the audience traveled from other municipalities. The festival featured new elements this year, including two evening events and various gastronomic offerings from local establishments.

The Calella City Council allocated 213,375 euros to the NEC. Of this amount, 18,000 euros covered production costs via the Associació Catalana per a la Promoció de Joves Artístes i Músics, while approximately 195,000 euros was designated for artist fees. While the council aimed to recoup 198,424 euros, it noted that a formal study on the economic return from ticket sales has not yet been conducted.
