Nitta Gelatin signs sponsorship deal with Josai University Women's Ekiden Team

Nitta Gelatin Inc. has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Josai University Women's Ekiden Team, effective September 2026. This partnership expands the company's support for the university, which it has already been supporting through a sponsorship of the men's ekiden team since 2021.

Through this agreement, Nitta Gelatin aims to provide conditioning support using its expertise in collagen peptides and its proprietary products, such as the athlete recovery drink ‘RUNSHOT’. The goal is to assist the female athletes in achieving peak performance and physical conditioning.

The Josai University Women's Ekiden Team is a highly successful program, having achieved a triple crown in recent years. The team will be led by new head coach Nobuyuki Sato, a former Japanese national marathon representative, starting in April 2026.
