Nivea Sun introduced a new UV Face Cream Anti‑Age Q10 SPF 50 that combines high‑level UV protection with skin‑care actives such as Q10, collagen‑boosting peptides and licochalcone A. The product claims to visibly reduce wrinkles within seven days, is dermatologist‑tested, non‑comedogenic and priced at around €10 in supermarkets.

Health experts caution that sunscreen effectiveness declines after its expiry date, typically twelve months after opening, and can be further reduced by heat exposure. Users should check the product’s texture and smell, discard any that appear altered, and apply an adequate amount – roughly six teaspoons for an adult’s full body. Reapplication every two hours, or after swimming or sweating, and choosing at least SPF 30 (SPF 50 for very fair or sensitive skin) are recommended for optimal protection.
