Nivea launches Q10 and Vitamin C firming body lotion

Nivea has introduced a Q10 and Vitamin C firming body lotion designed to improve skin elasticity and firmness. The formula utilizes Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) to support cellular energy production and protect against oxidative stress, alongside a stabilized Vitamin C derivative (sodium ascorbyl phosphate) to aid collagen synthesis and protect against free radicals.

The product features a ‘Collagen Boost Complex’ which, according to laboratory tests on skin cells, aims to support collagen-related mechanisms. The brand claims that users can observe firmer and more elastic skin within seven days of daily application. However, experts note that while topical antioxidants can strengthen skin defenses, cosmetic lotions cannot deeply reconstruct significantly sagging skin tissue caused by aging, hormonal changes, or weight fluctuations.
