Nivedita Basu transitions from media executive to seeded squash player

Nivedita Basu, a veteran of the Indian television and digital entertainment industry, has transitioned into competitive squash. After a career involving leadership roles at Balaji Telefilms and various OTT platforms, Basu has begun competing in the Masters circuit.

Representing Maharashtra, she has emerged as a seeded player in her category. Her competitive progress includes reaching the semifinals at the National Masters Squash Championship in Kolkata. To promote female participation in the sport, she has also launched the ‘Women & Racquet Sports’ initiative.
