Nivin Pauly and Rukmini Vasanth begin filming new project NP51

Actors Nivin Pauly and Rukmini Vasanth have commenced filming for a new Malayalam project, tentatively titled ‘NP51’ or ‘Switch On’. The film is directed by Nashid Famy and produced by Martin Prakkat in association with Pauly Jr. Pictures.

The production officially began following a traditional muhurat ceremony held on August 9, 2026. While specific plot details and the genre remain confidential, the cast also includes Aju Varghese. The collaboration has generated significant interest within the Malayalam film industry due to the involvement of established names like Prakkat and Pauly.
