Nivona and Jura introduce new coffee machine innovations

Major coffee machine manufacturers are introducing new technologies and compact designs to the consumer market.

Nivona has expanded its 8000 series with three new models: the NIVO 8‘111, 8‘113, and 8‘117. These machines are designed to produce Nitro Cold Brew—a nitrogen-enriched coffee known for its creamy texture—directly from the ambient air. This innovation eliminates the need for external capsules or cartridges, a feature previously reserved for professional cafe equipment.

Meanwhile, Swiss manufacturer Jura has unveiled the A8 at IFA Berlin. Measuring only 19 centimeters in width, it is the company’s narrowest fully automatic machine to date. Designed for small households and limited spaces, the A8 features a professional stainless steel grinder and a brewing group capable of processing up to 16 grams of powder. The machine offers 18 specialties, including ‘Light Brew’ options extracted at lower temperatures.
