Nizamabad development focuses on education, housing, and party appointments

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud has outlined development and organizational strategies for the Nizamabad district. Regarding regional growth, Goud noted that the government is focusing on infrastructure, education, and industry. Key initiatives include the establishment of new engineering and agriculture colleges, the development of a guest house at Limbadri Gutta, and the pursuit of a palm oil industry in Armur.

In terms of housing, Nizamabad has received the highest number of sanctioned Indiramma houses among Telangana districts. The government is also considering the implementation of Indiramma Towers, utilizing a pilot project model similar to those in Hyderabad.

On the political front, Goud announced a new appointment structure for the Congress party. Following decisions by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the All India Congress Committee, 70 per cent of government posts will be allocated to long-standing party workers, with 20 per cent reserved for newcomers. Priority will be given to those who have worked for the party over the last five years, including members of the NSUI and Youth Congress.
