Nizamabad farmers protest against new urea distribution app
Farmers in the Nizamabad district of India have staged protests against new government urea distribution methods. In the Indalvai mandal, demonstrators locked the gates of a Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PAUCS) godown to demand the cancellation of a new Urea App.
The protesters are calling for the restoration of the previous system, which allowed for direct fertilizer distribution in local villages. They allege the app-based process creates significant difficulties in obtaining necessary supplies during the current agricultural season. Demonstrators also held a roadside sit-in to urge officials to address their concerns and ensure the smooth availability of urea.
