Nizza di Sicilia event raises funds for autism support

The second edition of the ‘Castello dell’Amicizia’ event was held in the gardens of Castello d’Alcontres to support the day center for autism in Nizza di Sicilia. The initiative, organized by the Municipality of Nizza di Sicilia with support from Ais Sicilia (Taormina section) and the Cantine Bonfiglio winery, raised 2,085 euros.

Danilo Rizzo, an administrator of the Autism Association, stated that the funds will support inclusive projects and activities aimed at providing autonomy and new opportunities for people with autism. The event focused on the concept of ‘Community Care,’ which seeks to integrate citizens, institutions, businesses, and professionals into a single network to support local development and social inclusion.
