Nizza Monferrato to host Nizza DOCG wine weekend

Nizza Monferrato will host a dedicated weekend for Nizza DOCG wine starting Saturday, October 3, and continuing through Monday. The event is part of the “Nizza è…” program, organized by the Municipality, the Enoteca, and the Consorzio del Nizza.

Activities will primarily take place at Palazzo Crova, featuring tasting sessions designed to showcase the history and nuances of the wine. The program includes an opening ceremony at the Santissima Trinità auditorium, where a scholarship named after food historian Tullio Mussa will be presented. A roundtable discussion will also compare Nizza DOCG with Collio white wine.

Public tastings at Palazzo Crova are scheduled from 10:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 20:00 throughout the three days. Participation requires a reservation and a fee of 25 euros, which includes a commemorative tasting glass.
