NK Osijek faces growing injury crisis

NK Osijek coach Federico Bessone is navigating a significant wave of injuries ahead of the match against Rudes. Midfielder Šimun Mikolčić has been sidelined until the end of autumn due to tendon issues, joining a growing list of unavailable players that includes Jona Ježić, Emin Hasić, and Vito Čaić.

Other players currently out of action include David Mejia and Anton Matković, who are not expected to return before the second half of the season. While defender Luka Jelenić has missed recent matches, the club is monitoring his status to avoid long-term injury.

Due to these absences, Bessone may rely on younger players such as 16-year-old Izak Ježić and Ivan Kolarik to bolster the defense. Additionally, the club confirmed that former midfielder Marin Prekodravac will not be returning to the team following his recent training period.
