NK Osijek pursues long-term restructuring amid key player transfer talks

NK Osijek is undergoing a significant structural and personnel transformation. Club President Alexandra Végh has emphasized a long-term strategy focused on building a sustainable institution rather than relying on individual players or short-term successes. To support this, the club has integrated several Spanish experts—Carles Planchart, Francesc Cos, and Albert Puig—to oversee football development, performance, medicine, and the Academy. Additionally, Olivier Jaubert has taken over as CEO to lead business development.

Simultaneously, the club is navigating intense activity in the transfer market. Following the sale of Arnel Jakupović to Vitória Guimarães, NK Osijek is negotiating the potential departures of key players Roka Jurišić and Nail Omerović. Portuguese club Estoril has reportedly made offers for both; Jurišić has allegedly agreed to personal terms, while Estoril is seeking Nail Omerović for approximately €1.2 million. These potential sales come as the team maintains a strong start to the current season.
