ŽNK Radomlje Medex loses 0-2 to Vålerenga in European debut

In their historic European debut, the Slovenian women's football club ŽNK Radomlje Medex lost 0-2 to the Norwegian favorites Vålerenga in the UEFA Women's European Cup. Despite a competitive performance that held the score at 0-0 through the first half, the Norwegian side secured the victory in the second half.

Eline Hegg opened the scoring in the 64th minute with a diagonal shot from the left side of the penalty area. As Radomlje appeared to be holding on for a narrow defeat, Naina Inauen doubled the lead in stoppage time (95th minute) with a strike from the edge of the box.

Radomlje coach Matej Rožič Mavrič expressed pride in the team's effort, noting the high quality of play and the significant experience gained from the match. The two teams will face each other again in the return leg in Oslo next week.
