NLEX Road Warriors secure win to maintain Group A lead in PBA

The NLEX Road Warriors secured a 147-115 victory over the Titan Ultra Giant Risers in the PBA Season 50 Governors’ Cup. Despite a slow start that saw the Giant Risers lead by 13 points in the second quarter, NLEX executed a dominant second-half turnaround, highlighted by a 37-14 third quarter.

NLEX star Robert Bolick, who recorded 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists, emphasized the need for a championship mindset. Bolick stated that the team must approach every game with a “playoff mode” mentality to avoid previous patterns of early elimination.

NLEX currently holds the top spot in Group A with an 8-2 record. They are competing with the San Miguel Beermen, who sit at 7-3, for the No. 1 seed. The two teams are scheduled to face each other on October 21, a matchup that could determine the group leader heading into the quarterfinals.
