NMB48 celebrates 16th anniversary with Osaka concerts and new music video

NMB48 celebrated its 16th anniversary with a two-part concert series titled ‘NMB48 16th Anniversary LIVE GO TO 城’ at the Orix Theater in Osaka. The event featured two distinct concepts: a daytime performance focused on dance and an evening performance centered on vocal performances accompanied by a live band.

The daytime show utilized costumes from the group’s 2013 Kohaku Uta Gassen appearance and included contemporary dance elements. The evening show featured the ‘NMB48 ALL MY LOVERS BAND’ and included a solo acoustic performance of ‘Jungle Gym’ by Tomoka Nakagawa. The concert title reflects the members' collective goal to perform again at Osaka Castle Hall.

In conjunction with the anniversary, the group released a new music video for ‘Nagiichi ~all members 2026~’. This release is part of an ‘MV Remake Project’ where current members film new versions of classic songs. The video, filmed on Awaji Island, includes homages to previous NMB48 music videos.
