Nîmes municipal council addresses health and housing projects

The Nîmes municipal council, led by Mayor Vincent Bouget, has been conducting sessions to address various local issues including social housing, health centers, and the Courbessac airfield. Recent deliberations have focused on the Mas de Mingue health center, which operates in partnership with the region to address rising patient loads per physician.

The council has also moved to regularize 90 temporary staff members in the extracurricular sector to improve public service and job security. Political tensions remain high during these sessions, characterized by sharp exchanges between the left-wing majority and the National Rally (RN) opposition.
