NMU men's soccer moves to top of GLIAC standings

The Northern Michigan University (NMU) men's soccer team secured a 3-2 victory over Davenport, moving into sole possession of first place in the GLIAC standings. Luca Rosen scored twice in the match, including the decisive goal, to help the Wildcats extend their home winning streak to seven games.

With one regular-season game remaining against Saginaw Valley State, NMU has the opportunity to clinch its first regular-season championship and host the GLIAC Tournament. A draw in the season finale would be sufficient to secure the title. Head coach Alex Fatovic noted the high stakes of the upcoming matches, emphasizing their importance for the team's NCAA tournament at-large berth prospects.
