NN Marathon The Hague announces route through city, Westland, and coast

The organizers of the NN Marathon The Hague have announced the route for the event's first edition, scheduled for Sunday, November 1, 2026. The 42.2-kilometer course is designed to start and finish at the Malieveld.

Designed by Wim Jonkman for organizer Golazo, the route connects the historic center of The Hague with the Westland region and the coast of Scheveningen. The course will pass through several key locations, including the Mauritskade, the Royal Stables, and Zuiderpark. After the 5-kilometer mark at the Sportcampus, runners will enter the Westland, passing through the villages of Wateringen, Kwintsheul, Honselersdijk, Poeldijk, and Monster.

The route continues through Madestein and Ockenburgh toward Kijkduin at the 30-kilometer mark. The final stretch follows the Scheveningen boulevard and the Kurhaus before heading back inland to the Malieveld. The course is expected to be fast, as it consists entirely of asphalt and features limited elevation changes.
