Nnamdi Azikiwe University launches digital graduation systems

Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has implemented new digital clearance and certificate systems to minimize delays in the graduation process. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Bond Anyaehie announced that the digital clearance system allows students to complete requirements from any location globally, with an expected approval timeframe of five days.

The university has also introduced an automated system for generating provisional certificates. These certificates feature barcodes that allow employers and other institutions to scan and verify authenticity via an authentication code. Additionally, the university has digitized its transcript processing to increase speed and efficiency.

Beyond administrative technology, Prof. Anyaehie stated that the administration is committed to improving physical infrastructure, specifically targeting the upgrade of classroom facilities and seating.
