Nnamdi Madubuike progresses in recovery from neck injury

Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike has taken a step toward returning to the field by participating in sled drills during Monday’s practice. This marks his first such activity this summer as he recovers from a neck injury sustained in Week 2 of last season, which required surgery and ended his previous campaign.

While Madubuike has not yet rejoined full team drills, head coach Jesse Minter stated the team is evaluating his progress daily. There is currently no decision regarding his availability for the Ravens’ regular-season opener against the Indianapolis Colts on September 13, though the coaching staff expressed encouragement regarding his recovery.
