NNPC and Shell Nigeria initiative reaches 10,000 people

The Vision First initiative, a joint effort between the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) and Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), has reached over 10,000 beneficiaries since its launch in 2022.

As part of the broader Health-in-Motion programme, the initiative provides medical services to underserved communities. Key services include eyecare, cardiovascular screening, consultations and treatment for mild and chronic illnesses, laboratory tests, pharmaceutical services, and the distribution of insecticide-treated nets.

The sixth edition of the outreach is currently taking place in the Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos State. This latest session is being conducted in collaboration with the Kolmarg Eyesight Foundation, the Lagos State Ministry of Health, and the Badagry Local Government Council.
