NNPC and SNEPCo conduct medical outreach in Badagry

Vision First initiative medical outreach eye care services NNPC SNEPCo

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) and Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo) recently conducted the sixth edition of their Vision First medical outreach in Badagry, Lagos State.

During the five-day initiative, medical teams treated 2,297 people. Eye care services were provided to 1,458 individuals, which included 154 cataract surgeries and the distribution of 878 pairs of spectacles. Additionally, the program performed over 200 general surgeries.

In collaboration with the Kolmarg Eyesight Foundation, the program also offered cardiovascular screenings, consultations for chronic illnesses, laboratory services, and the distribution of insecticide-treated nets.
