A new mobile game titled ‘No 10: Full Confidence’ has reached the top of Apple’s paid games chart, surpassing the global hit Minecraft. Developed by Manchester-based Benjamin Brewis of Sleepy Boy Games, the simulator places players in the role of a UK Prime Minister.

Players must navigate over 300 handwritten political scenarios, ranging from mundane administrative issues to absurd situations. To remain in power, players must balance the conflicting interests of four key factions: the cabinet, backbenchers, the media, and the public. If any single faction turns completely against the player, their political career ends. Brewis noted that the game’s storylines are inspired by real-life political events and the recent volatility within Westminster.
