No Angels documentary marks 25 years of the girl group

A new three-part ARD documentary titled ‘No Angels - Das sind wir’ will examine the 25-year history of the German girl group No Angels. The series explores the group's rapid rise following their selection on the casting show ‘Popstars’ in 2000, as well as their commercial successes, such as the chart-topping debut single ‘Daylight in Your Eyes’.

Beyond their musical achievements and million-selling records, the documentary covers the group's challenges, including breakups, comebacks, intense pressure, and personal crises. Current members Nadja Benaissa, Lucy Diakovska, Sandy Mölling, and Jessica Wahls will share their experiences and reflect on their enduring friendship. The production also features contributions from associates such as choreographer Detlef D! Soost and former ‘Bravo’ editor-in-chief Alex Gernandt.

The documentary is scheduled to premiere in the ARD Mediathek on October 14, with the first episode airing on the ARD channel on October 17 at 23:55.
