No Angels members discuss fame and personal struggles in new documentary

In the three-part documentary series ‘No Angels – Das sind wir’, members Nadja Benaissa, Lucy Diakovska, Sandy Mölling, and Jessica Wahls reflect on the challenges and dark sides of their early success. The series, marking the group's 25th anniversary, follows the singers as they revisit their history.

Nadja Benaissa shares deeply personal accounts of her youth, including struggles with addiction, homelessness, and the trauma of balancing motherhood with sudden stardom at age 18. She also discusses being stalked for two years by an acquaintance in the music industry, an experience that involved threats and property damage, such as slashed tires.

The documentary also addresses the group's internal dynamics, including the handling of Jessica Wahls' pregnancy and the personal legal challenges Benaissa faced in 2010. The series is available on the ARD Mediathek, with television broadcast scheduled for October 17, 2026.
