La Candelaria distributes agricultural supplies to 106 families

The La Candelaria Rural Parish Government in Penipe, Ecuador, has distributed agricultural and livestock supplies to 106 local producer families. The initiative, part of the “Strengthening Agricultural Activities in the La Candelaria Parish” project, was led by Parish President Diego Barba Pusay.

The distribution was divided into two technical components. The agricultural component provided 62 producers with ammonium sulfate fertilizer and organic compost to improve soil nutrition and crop yields. The livestock component provided 44 ranchers with mineral salts and AD3E vitamin supplements to enhance animal health and nutrition.

Local authorities stated that the project aims to mitigate operating costs for farming families managing crops and livestock. While the total public investment for the kits was not specified, officials indicated they will provide ongoing technical monitoring in the territory.
