Noè Ponti leads Swiss swimming performance in Paris

At the European Aquatics Championships in Paris, Swiss swimmer Noè Ponti rebounded from a disappointing 50m butterfly final to post the fastest time in the heats of the 100m butterfly. Clocking 50.47 seconds, Ponti achieved his best time of the year and secured a spot in the semifinals.

Other Swiss performances included Antonio Djakovic, who finished 14th in the 200m freestyle semifinals with a time of 1:46.60. Despite missing the final, Djakovic noted he was satisfied with his progress and his ability to swim under 1:47. Kay-Lyn Löhr also competed in the 200m breaststroke semifinals, finishing 13th with a time of 2:28.75.

Several other Swiss representatives, including Robin Yeboah, Enrico Sottile, and Marius Toscan, were eliminated in their respective heats, while Swiss women Vanna Djakovic, Gaia Rasmussen, and Manon Richard also failed to reach the semifinals in the 200m freestyle.
