No Tav guerrilla attack injures dozens of police at Chiomonte rail site

A masked group of about 500 activists attacked the high‑speed railway construction site in Chiomonte, Italy, on 25 July. Participants wore colored gloves to signal roles, used stones, paper bombs, incendiary bottles and set fire to four police and finance‑guard vehicles. The assault left dozens of law‑enforcement officers injured – reports cite around 60–120 casualties – and prompted a call for solidarity from President Sergio Mattarella to Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi.
