Noada Holding reports strong start to Turkish fig season
The Turkish fig season has officially commenced, marked by the start of the black Bursa fig season following the initial Aydın region harvest. Cem Varnatopu of Noada Holding reports that the season is looking promising, with early Bursa figs showing excellent color, flavor, and quality.
While volumes appear healthy, availability may fluctuate based on weather conditions. Demand has been strong, leading to the rapid sale of initial stock. Although prices are currently high at the start of the Bursa season, market equilibrium is expected as volumes increase.
Fresh figs are reportedly gaining market share annually within European retail sectors. Noada Holding focuses its distribution on markets including the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, and Scandinavia, serving both wholesale and retail clients.
