Noah Centineo discusses missed roles in Interstellar and Masters of the Universe

Actor Noah Centineo shared details regarding past career setbacks during an appearance on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast. He recounted a failed audition for a role in Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar” that was eventually played by Timothée Chalamet. Centineo explained that he and a friend became distracted by a swimming pool at the audition compound, which derailed his focus and disrupted the process for other actors.

Centineo also discussed his departure from the “Masters of the Universe” project. He revealed that he had signed a contract and completed the testing process to play He-Man, but the production faced repeated delays while the creative team continued to tweak the project. Ultimately, his contract expired, and the role was later filled by Nicholas Galitzine after the project moved between Netflix and Amazon.
