Noah Centineo reveals why he left Masters of the Universe

Actor Noah Centineo has revealed that he was previously cast to play the lead role in a ‘Masters of the Universe’ film adaptation. During an appearance on the ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast, Centineo explained that he had signed a contract, participated in camera tests, and even tried on costumes for the production.

The project, which was being developed by Sony Pictures with Adam and Aaron Nee directing, faced repeated delays due to ongoing revisions. Centineo stated that the production was pushed back so many times that his contract eventually expired.

Following the collapse of that version, the rights to the adaptation moved between various studios, including Netflix and Amazon. Nicholas Galitzine was eventually cast in the role of He-Man. Centineo expressed support for Galitzine, praising his performance and ability to handle the film’s campy style.
