Noah Kahan to perform Simon & Garfunkel classic at the 2026 Emmys

Singer Noah Kahan is scheduled to perform the Simon & Garfunkel classic ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ during the ‘in memoriam’ segment of the 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards. The ceremony will take place on September 14 at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.

Mariska Hargitay is set to host the event, marking the first time a woman has hosted the ceremony in 15 years. The broadcast is expected to include a tribute to the late country music icon Dolly Parton, who passed away on August 25 at the age of 80. Additionally, Michael J. Fox will be honored with the Bob Hope humanitarian award.

The Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on NBC and streamed on Peacock.
